We are now offering close protection and tactical firearms training courses in Iraqi Kurdistan. This is a different training environment form the U.S. and Europe and is applicable for those seeking to work in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Not only will you be introduced to the different operational procedures but also the cultural differences and what it takes to work safely and efficiently in the MENA. All of the training is conducted in safe areas and all courses are taught by English speaking instructors. The Kurdistan courses include transport, 3 meals a day and accommodation

The Akl Elite Corp. close protection training in Kurdistan covers the high and low profile protection techniques for high-risk environments. The course is split between theory and practical exercises which cover real-world skills and operational procedures.

Firearms Familiarization Training in Iraqi Kurdistan

This 3-day course is aimed at the firearms enthusiast and those that want a vacation with a difference. In addition to learning about and firing the light and medium weapons of the Peshmerga including the AK-47, M-4, PKM, 12.7 DShk & RPG-7. You will get to experience the culture, good food, and hospitality of the Kurdish people.

Base fee, per person for a group of 4: $3600.00

Individual fee: $7600.00


Students who successfully complete our courses receive an Akl Elite Corp and Risks Incorporated certification. We assess students throughout the course, there is no end of course true or false test. Students are judged on their attitude, ability and whether we would be happy working with them. We train a maximum of 6 students per class which ensures our students get individual attention and the best instruction possible.​

Everyone attending our courses must provide a copy of their passport, proof of residency and good character.
